On Friday, December 5th, at the Annual Communication of Shekinah Lodge
No. 58 in the 22nd Masonic District, Noble Jim Eager was recognized with
the Distinguished White Apron Award. The award is given to a Master Mason
who never chose to go through the chairs and serve as Worshipful Master,
but has been an active Mason serving his Lodge, his community, and the Fraternity
as a whole. Right Worshipful Robert W. Estell, District Deputy Grand Master
of the 22nd District presented Noble Jim with the apron, certificate, and
lapel pin.
Jim and Lady Lillian are well known to the Nobility and Ladies of Crescent
Shrine. Having held the appointment of Chief Hospitality Aide for many years,
he goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that nobody ever
goes away thirsty. Noble Eager is a Past President and current Secretary
of Cumberland County Shrine Club. He is also a very active Shepherd and
a member of the Golf Club.
Noble Jim was not aware that he would be receiving the White Apron Award
and was very surprised when Potentate Mike Aaron appeared at Shekinah Lodge's
Annual. RW Robert Estell became a Shriner recently at the Princeton Shrine
Club OV/LN Ceremonial Session.
Jim is a great example for all of us as an active Shrine Mason.
